When I first came into NYP, I was unsure on how I would fare. It was a completely new environment, with many unfamiliar people. At first I stuck to the one friend I had in my class. However, as time passed, I realised that I would not be able to survive if I stayed with only one person, hence I opened up and started talking to the others. This allowed me to be able to work well with pretty much almost everyone. This proved beneficial in group projects during lab sessions and group presentations.
All in all, the Polytechnic Foundation Programme in NYP has allowed me to be a much better person than what I would have imagined myself to be. Entering Polytechnic is not purely on gaining knowledge for your course, it is also an opportunity to adjust oneself to be better and learn certain life skills.
