PFP year has been very new and exciting for me personally. There are a lot of great opportunities for us PFP students to take in, allowing us to expand our horizons. PFP year is that one year where students can get an early taste of what it is like to be a Polytechnic student and what you can expect in your diploma years. Could be like submission of assignments or even having a lot of exposure when it comes to presenting, group projects and many more! PFP year prepares you to be a ready-for-anything student in your diploma years. I'm a very introverted and shy student when it comes to presenting, however, since there was a lot of exposure to presentations, I have developed to be a confident person when there is any type of presentation to be done. Moreover, in your PFP year you will be in classes where your classmates are from different diplomas. Through this, you are given the chance to get to know different students from different courses which is beneficial in the sense where you can ask classmates for help in the future if you are doing a project that has something to do with what they are learning in their diploma. PFP year can give you a lot of tips and allows you to be more prepared for your diploma year like the schedule that you will have for an example. All of these that I have stated is definitely the experience that I have gained. Overall, my PFP year has been very memorable for me!
